J Hair Salon founder, Janey Garcia has been cutting, coloring, and styling hair for over twenty years. She opened her own salon to raise the bar for other salons in Katy TX and Cinco Ranch as well as around Fort Bend and Harris County. She believes a salon should be run professionally and this isn’t just hair but an outward sign about an inwards commitment to embrace your beauty and personality. We may not have a lot of control over people, places, or things but we have control over our hair- or at least we should. Another way Janey raises the bar in the hair industry is by training other stylists at Lee College in Baytown, while it’s a long drive she believes helping other stylists is important enough to make the trek weekly across town. Janey's favorite thing to do is color and cut hair but she also enjoys styling hair, doing wedding and prom hair and makeup. She is also skilled at eyelashes, manicures, and waxing.
